Firefly Distillery: Here Is What You Need to Know

About Firefly Distillery

When owners of Firefly Distillery, Jim Irvin and Scott Newitt, set out to make the perfect southern spirit, lthey had no idea that they would strike gold on their very first attempt. They released their Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka in 2008 and haven’t looked back since. Today, Firefly Distillery sells their products in all 50 states. In 2009, the team moved from Florida to South Carolina and now offers visitors unique tasting opportunities and tours. Experience the excitement for yourself on your next visit to the area.

Firefly Distillery Tours

Taste the magic of Firefly for yourself with Sea Island Tours. Their Tipsy Tour offers the perfect opportunity to experience the very best of Charleston’s libations. The tour makes three stops: Deep Water Vineyard, LowTide Brewery, and Firefly Distillery. The excursion lasts nearly four hours and comes with exclusive souvenir glassware and a fruit and cheese tray to accompany your tastings. The tour costs $85 and is, without a doubt, the best way to get a feel for Charleston in a short amount of time.
