October 2021 – Loved the spacious & fabulously decorated indoor lobby with a variety of comfortable seating. Inviting outdoor screened area with comfortable seating and large hanging swings. The pool area was pristine with lounge chair seating in the shallow end overlooking the lake. Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the outdoor porch overlooking the lake on a pleasant October evening. We walked over to Frieshfileds for an early dinner, browsed the shops, grocery store and returned later that evening, after driving to the beach to walk and enjoy the sunset, to get ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s. The king suit room had a full kitchen, cozy king size bed linens and a comfortable king size pull out sofa for the kids as well as a large screened TV. The complimentary breakfast in the morning included hot scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms, chicken sausage, Canadian bacon, croissant with chocolate, bagels, various bread products and gluten free items available for the asking, fresh honeydew melon, fresh blueberries, apples, bananas, cold cereals, instant oatmeal, Chobani yogurts and more. They even provided mimosas and coffee with syrups to add. There was even a pancake maker. We ate our tremendous breakfast on the outdoor porch overlooking the lake. We brought our bikes and locked them at the outdoor bike racks provided. You may also rent bikes by walking over to Freshfields. From the hotel, there are bike paths leading to Seabrook Island and Kiawah Beachwalker Park. A highlight was watching the dolphin strand feeding at low tide (2 hours before and 2 hours after) at Captan Sam’s Inlet accessible by walking or riding your bike on the beach from Beachwalker Park (west end). The front desk staff were polite, courteous, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time and would love to return.
August 2021 – “This place is adorable, it is very quiet, it’s very very clean and well kept from outside to inside, not to mention the fitness center. Oh, my word, it’s awesome, the staff team are very nice, customer service is 100% and the rooms are well kept, very clean and well tidied. Thumbs up to the housekeeping staff for their big efforts in upholding the standard of the place.”
2021 – “The Andell Inn is a wonderful travel experience. The staff is first rate. The location, adjacent to Freshfields Village which offers great restaurants, retail shopping, a very nice grocery store, cannot be beat. Rent bikes and leave your car parked. Enjoy everything the area has to offer. Don’t miss the fun bike riding trails, an amazing, uncrowded, public beach on a very kid friendly ocean coast a short bike ride from the Inn. Ride on the beach to the inlet to see the dolphins. I could go on and on. Ok take your car and drive to Charleston, shouldn’t miss that charming city.”

July, 2021 – “Service was exceptional in every way! This was a holiday week and Joseph went out of his way to accommodate us to ensure both families had a room. The hotel is immaculate and so beautifully decorated. It reminds of a Grand Bohemian and rustic elegance decor. The pool area is PERFECT with a view of a pond, fantastic covered outdoor seating wrapping around half the hotel, easy parking, quick walk to restaurants shopping and groceries. There are a large number of washers and dryer‘s on the second floor for free use for yes, and a fantastic bar downstairs. Free breakfast, free mimosas!!! I truly can’t say enough about this hotel. We WILL BE BACK”
September 2021 – “One word can sum up Andell Inn….superb! This is my 4th stay here; 2 during the summer months and one in January and all have been terrific. The decor of the whole property is just stunning. The staff here are excellent, so friendly and helpful, all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Location is wonderful, just a few short steps from Freshfields which offers lovely dining and shopping options. You absolutely cannot go wrong choosing Andell Inn for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Will surely miss my morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Until next time…”
July, 2021- “Perfect score! Friendly & helpful staff. The lobby is exquisite. Complimentary breakfast is delicious, well stocked, & consists of a wide variety of options. The pool & surrounding patio have a country club vibe. Enjoyed lounging poolside on the high-end, comfortable furniture. The Freshfields Village is in such close proximity & has a decent amt. of restaurants, bars, & shops. Will most definitely choose to stay here again! Thank you 🙂 I enjoyed my escape from the Wisconsin cold to paradise!”
