SIAG Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Event
Explore the creativity of local talents at this weekend art show! The outdoor show will feature works by artists from the Seabrook Island Artists Guild, which comprises over 100 artists from the area. The event will take place in a nice, relaxed setting. During the event, you’ll have the chance to speak with the artists about their process and how their personal experiences have informed their work.

Memorial Day Music on the Green
Head on down to Freshfields Village for a good time outside! This free weekly concert series sees local bands from a variety of genres performing on The Village Green. For Memorial Day Weekend, the celebration is ramping up, with performances on both Friday and Saturday, giving you more flexibility if you want to fit this into your itinerary. Friday will feature a performance from The Michel Jons Band, a nine-piece ensemble from Atlanta performing Top 40 Hits with a classic twist! If you can’t make it on Friday, don’t worry, you’ll have the chance to check out the Shem Creek Boogie Band the next day to hear their rendition of dance, funk, and RnB classics!

Weekend Spirit Tastings at Kiawah Spirits
Enjoy a fun weekend wine tasting at this local spirit shop that carries over 110 small-batch bourbons and over 100 malt scotches. For the Memorial Day weekend, the shop is inviting Cannon Distillery, a local stillhouse specializing in craft spirits such as rum, vodka, and bourbon. On May 23rd, the shop will host its “On the Rocks” tasting, serving a variety of margaritas, cosmos, and other fun craft cocktails.

Longevity Mat Pilates on the Green
Wanting to build up a sweat? Head over to this free Pilates pop-up happening Saturday! While you must bring your own mat and water, the class will provide free canvas tote bags to all attendees. You’ll also be treated to a storefront mimosa shopping party with 15% off light refreshments from Harvest. While this is a bit more slow-paced, this experience is sure to be a calming moment of reflection during a potentially busy holiday weekend.
