About the Plantation
The Charleston Tea Plantation is the only tea plantation in North American, making it your best glimpse into the secrets of the tea-growing process without flying thousands of miles! The island dates back to 1666 and is considered today to be one of the Lowcountry’s most well-preserved and untouched pieces of land. The plantation was purchased by the Bigelow Tea Company in 2003, and the rest is history! Come by for a taste on your next visit to Charleston!
